About our products
We do our best to accurately measure and describe all the items on this site. Please bear in mind that much of what we sell is quite old and natural wear and tear is to be expected. Feel free to enquire about any particular item. Please note it’s your responsibility to ensure we have sufficient access to make the delivery, and that the item fits your doorways and the space for which it’s intended.
Your details
We promise that your personal information during any transaction with us won’t be passed on to a third party. From time to time we may send you information on fabulous new pieces that we think you might like. If you don’t want to receive these updates at any point, just let us know. Safe and secure
We process all online payments through Google. They use encrypted servers, which mean your card and details can’t be accessed by another party. We won’t secure your card details on our own website or server.
Ways to pay
You can pay for your items in a number of different ways: cash on delivery or collection, via bank transfer, a cheque before we deliver, or credit or debit card via our Google service. Please let us know when you order.
Shipping overseas
If you’d like your order to be delivered outside the UK mainland, please get in touch and we’ll give you a quote. Please remember that you may have to pay local taxes or import duties when it reaches your country.
Returns
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, so we’re happy to refund (or exchange if possible) any item within 14 working days of delivery. Please let us know if you intend to do this.
The items must be returned in the same condition in which they left us and you must pay the cost of sending goods back. Once we’ve got the items back and we’re satisfied that everything’s ok, we’ll refund the money. In the unlikely event that the items we send out are damaged during delivery, we’ll refund your money. If this happens, please let us know within 48 hours of delivery. After that, claims can’t be upheld.
Our upholstery service
We pride ourselves on providing an expert upholstery service. These special orders use specific fabrics or finishes. Therefore, once an order has been made, it can’t be changed, cancelled or returned (unless it’s a mistake we’ve made). Please do check that the items you order are the right size and that they’ll fit into the space you want them to.
These terms don’t affect your statutory rights.
